Arsenal are set to make an alteration to their kits next season that will see the traditional club crest removed.
The Gunners are instead planning to feature the cannon only, which has been synonymous with the club since it was formed in 1886 and explains their nickname.
It won't be the first time their shirts have only featured the cannon, notably on their green third kit this season, along with the 2022-23 black away kit.
But according to The Athletic, next season will be the first time in recent years that just the cannon will be spotted across all of Arsenal's shirts.
This has reportedly been decided due to the popularity of the cannon and reflects the culture and tradition of the club.
It's unclear if this will be a permanent change or not however Arsenal have stressed that the crest won't be retired for good.
News on Arsenal's kit comes after a leaked design of next season's home shirt was mocked by fans online.
That design also featured a shirt without the crest and supporters didn't take to it well.
Others meanwhile compared the design to looking like a water bottle - in reference to two recent defeats the Gunners had.
“The red part looks like a bottle, Adidas knows,” said one person on X.
“Love the bottle design in the middle…” a second added.
Another commented: “At least they know who they are.”
A fourth said: ”I can only see a bottle.”
