Whoever runs Arsenal’s Twitter account made a bit of a blunder today
The FA Cup holders announced a competition through their official account giving fans the chance to win tickets to the next round of the tournament. Users simply have to post photos on Twitter putting #FACupAdventure in the caption.
The only problem is, the Gunners are not through to the next stage yet. There’s still the small matter of taking on Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday.
The tweet was swiftly deleted but luckily we were able to screenshot the premature post.
A Brighton fansite also spotted the tweet and had a nice pop at the club, implying they were underestimating their beloved Championship side.

The silver lining for Gooners is that should their team win, they now have plenty of time to plan out their amazing photos in order to get their mits on tickets to the next round.
That is unless the club are so embarrassed by the mistake that they scrap the competition altogether.
