We’re starting to get the sense that Arsenal have got a reputation for signing creative attacking midfielders.
At least that’s our explanation for the Gunners being offered Real Madrid’s Isco despite having a wealth of talent in that area of the pitch.
According to The Independent, Arsene Wenger’s side have been told the Spain international – also rumoured to be a target for Manchester City – is available for £25m.
Isco joined Madrid from Malaga in 2013, and has scored 20 goals in 129 games. He’s also a fan favourite with the Bernabeu crowd.
Any move is unlikely to happen until the summer, though, with Wenger’s team already strong in that particular department.
