The football world has spoken.
And Arsenal fans are leading the calls.
The Gunners supporters sent out a resounding message to refugees that they are welcome by the club with a huge banner displayed at Saturday’s game with Stoke. It is brilliant.

It’s a truly fantastic show of support and it oozes class. Thankfully, most people supported the message.
If you want to see why Arsenal is a class club look at the banner at the Emirates.

This being Twitter though, it was never going to be unanimous. Right? They’re fooling no-one apparently.
Why are Arsenal fans pretending? We all know they don't like refugees/immigrants. That banner doesn't fool anyone. #AFC

But hats off to the fans. This is a real good gesture. And we have definitive proof that it is. A supporter of another club has ratified the good deed.
