In a shock move, Arsene Wenger is believed to have given Jack Wilshere permission to leave Arsenal on a loan deal in an effort to give the England midfielder more playing time.
Or at least, we think it’s supposed to be a shock move.
Although Jack Wilshere is still believed to be central to Wenger’s long term plans for Arsenal, the news that Jack is up for a loan seems to have been received by a chuckle by a number of Arsenal fans.
Send Jack to Roma, he can team up with Szczesny and have the most laddish equivalent of "The Trip" imaginable.

As reported in The Mirror, “Wilshere held crunch talks with Arsenal and expressed his fears about a lack of playing time which resulted in him being axed from the England squad.”
With only 37 minutes of gametime under his belt this season, it is believed Wilshere fears for his place in the Arsenal pecking order, seeing the £30 million transfer move for Granit Xhaka as somewhat troublesome.
While it is thought that a season long move to a Spanish or Italian club is preferred, with the transfer deadline fast approaching, a deal would have to be brokered quickly.
From potentially being the core of Arsenal for a decade, to being loaned out at 24.
The idea of Wilshere leaving Arsenal for a year got a lot of football fans fantasy booking his future.
I think Wilshere would excel in La Liga. The way he plays football is definitely accustomed to the intricacies of Spanish football.

Wilshere at Juve would be cool. Hopefully they'd give him some good stuff in one of their labs.

While others took the news to make a wider statement about England players as a whole.
First Hart & now Wilshere. Finally these English players are being realised for what they really are, overrated

Of course, there were those who just wanted to have a laugh.
Arsenal getting clever loaning out Jack Wilshere so some other club can pay for his injury treatments

And then there were the Jack Wilshere fan accounts who were… well.
If Wilshere goes out on loan then I go out on loan
