Arsenal have been drawn against one of the most successful European clubs of all time in the next round of the Europa League.
Arsene Wenger will take his players to the San Siro on March 8 for the first leg of their Round of 16 fixture against AC Milan.
The Gunners’ home leg will take place on March 15 and it will require a lot more then Wenger’s side showed on Thursday night, when they scraped past Swedish minnows Ostersund on aggregate to progress.
Arsenal claimed a 3-0 victory last week but were given an almighty scare in the return leg as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to the visitors.

Arsenal vs. AC Milan stands out as the glamour tie of the next round, given the illustrious history of both clubs, but neither look close to recapturing the glory days in the foreseeable future.
It’s sixth in the Premier League against seventh in Serie A but it should be pointed out that AC Milan are in the midst of a terrific run, having gone unbeaten in 11 consecutive games under the motivational management of Gennaro Gattuso.
