Okay, folks. You know the drill.
The football season is over, and with a few weeks to go until the World Cup kicks off there’s only one thing for us all to occupy our tiny minds for a while: get fixated with transfers that probably won’t ever happen.
Without further ado, let’s crack on, shall we? Yes. Yes, we shall. So, to Sky Sports, who have served up an absolute corker on Wednesday afternoon. Unsurprisingly, it involves Manchester United; surprisingly, it also involves Marko Arnautovic…
Yep, according to those trusty Sky Sports’ Sources™, Jose Mourinho is sniffing around the West Ham striker (not literally) with an interest in taking him to Old Trafford.
At this early stage, there’s not an awful lot more to it, other than the fact Kaveh Solhekol has tweeted the Austrian is not for sale.
In the very same tweet, he also adds that the very much not-for-sale Arnautovic would also cost £50m. A little bit confusing.
Manchester United interested in signing West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic. Player not for sale. Would cost more than £50m

Arnautovic only signed for West Ham last summer, completing a club record switch from Stoke City for £24m. Now 29, a move to United would see him reunited with Mourinho, who was his manager during the early stages of his career at Inter Milan.
After a season in Milan, he moved to Werder Bremen, spending three seasons in the Bundesliga before making the move to Stoke.
