Because one ridiculously expensive Frenchman is simply never enough, Antoine Griezmann is already being linked with a big money summer move to Manchester United.
Given that Jose Mourinho’s side failed to convert any of their 37 shots against Burnley at the weekend, perhaps it’s no surprise they’re eyeing a goalscorer.
Whereas Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s radar has been off in recent weeks, Griezmann reminded any United supporters bothering to tune in to Atletico Madrid’s meeting with FC Rostov in the Champions League that he knows where the back of the net is.
With nearly half an hour played in Madrid, Griezmann gave his side the lead with a brilliant flick.
Narrowly beating the offside, the Frenchman was forced to change his run slightly as the ball zipped of a defender’s head. On the spin, he steered the ball beyond the goalkeeper and in to the top corner.

A goal to the good, surely the famously mean Atleti defence wouldn’t be giving up this lead any time soon, right?
Wrong.
The visitors managed to draw themselves level almost immediately, meaning the scores were level at half-time.
But another Griezmann goal rescued the result at the very end to secure a place in the knockout rounds for Atletico.
