Antoine Griezmann continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford

Griezmann potentially joining Manchester United is likely to be the summer transfer window saga of 2017, the way Paul Pogba to United was last year, and David de Gea almost signing for Real Madrid was in 2015.

Griezmann is one of Europe’s highest rated players, and has shown brilliant form for France and Atletico Madrid in recent years.

The 26-year-old has scored 83 goals in 160 games for the Spanish side, and could end up costing United a world record fee.

The La Liga season may have just ended on Sunday, but Griezmann is already getting asked about where his future lies.

The Atletico forward appeared on French television, and rated his chances of joining United this summer.

According to L’Equipe, Griezmann said it is “possible” that he would move to Old Trafford, and rated the chances of the move occurring as “six out of 10.”

He went on to say that he will decide within the next two weeks, and spoke of admiration for former United midfielder David Beckham.

Griezmann’s younger brother Theo seems excited by the prospect of him becoming the next United number seven.
