It’s easy to understand why he feels this way.
The speculation linking Antoine Griezmann with a summer transfer to Manchester United has been going on for quite a few months.
The Atletico Madrid forward will reportedly be the subject of a world record bid at the end of the season, and United fans are very excited at the prospect of him moving to Old Trafford.
Griezmann has 22 goals already this season, and scored an impressive 32 goals in 54 games last season as Atletico narrowly missed out on winning the Champions League.
He was then the top scorer at Euro 2016, and named best player at the tournament as he cemented his status as one of the game’s elite players.
There’s no doubt the French forward would go straight into United’s team, and would be good enough to play for almost any of Europe’s top teams.
The speculation linking Griezmann with United appears to have died down a little in recent weeks, in this part of the world anyway.
However, the transfer talk shows no sign of going away in Spain, and Griezmann is getting sick of it.
“It’s always the same question and now I don’t know what to say,” the 26-year-old told Spanish media outlet AS, when asked if he would leave Atletico in the summer.
“I find myself repeating myself and I certainly see myself here.
“I feel it’s an answer that I’ve given so many times now but that very question is quite tiring.”
“I’m feeling good and focusing on Saturday’s game. It’s a huge game for our fans and the team and I hope all works out well for us.”
Griezmann has a point. It’s highly unlikely that there’ll be any further developments on the potential move before the transfer window opens.
And even then, the transfer would most likely drag on until just before the window closes.
We doubt Griezmann is the only one tired of the speculation.
