Anthony Stokes isn’t one bit happy about not getting his game at Celtic.
The Irish forward has struggled to break into the Hoops’ first team this season, making just 10 appearances, two of which he started.
Celtic travel to Inverness on Sunday and you’ll never guess who got left out of the squad again.
Stokes vented his frustration at Ronny Deila’s decision to snub him for the away game with a tweet that was dripping with sarcasm.
His first tweet saw the “well, at least you’re getting paid well” brigade come out in force which only angered the striker more. Stokes explained that money doesn’t mean a whole lot to him when he’s not getting regular first team football.
Stokes has been perpetually linked with a move away from Celtic, with a number of English clubs reported to be interested in signing him.
UPDATE: Stokes has since apologised for his rant on Twitter.
