Talks are ongoing.
Anthony Martial has reportedly turned down Manchester United’s latest contract offer, but talks are ongoing and an agreement is expected to be reached.
Martial had been linked with a move away from Old Trafford throughout the summer, with Tottenham Hotspur showing interest in signing him after a difficult season under José Mourinho, but he has changed his mind and is now reportedly keen to stay with the club after his relationship with Mourinho ‘warmed’ in recent weeks.

His current deal expires next summer with has a one-year extension option, but United are keen to tie him down to a new long-term deal. However, their latest offer has not met the player’s expectations.
Martial became the world’s most expensive teenager in 2015 when he signed for the club from Monaco for a fee rising to £58m, a record that has since been smashed by his compatriot Kylian Mbappe.
United still believe there is a lot to come from the 22-year-old and want to keep him around for a while longer, hoping that he can fulfil his potential.
