Some people have too much time on their hands.
And at least one Crystal Palace fan has too much time and anger on their hands, judging by a petition they seemingly have launched after Sunday’s controversial loss to Liverpool.
‘
Christian Benteke won a dubious penalty in the final seconds after the slightest of touches from the knee of Ireland’s Damien Delaney inside the area.
The Belgian dusted himself down and slotted the ball into the net for a 2-1 win that reignites Liverpool’s top four ambitions.
However, this afternoon a Crystal Palace fan has organised a petition to try and get the Reds docked six points for their cheating, and get Benteke banned.

The description of the petition states that they want to bring the alleged dive to the attention of the FA and stamp out the behaviour.
“During the Premier League game on Sunday 6th March 2016 between Crystal Palace and Liverpool in the 94th minute Liverpool player Christian Benteke DIVED to con the refereeing officials to award Liverpool with a penalty which subsequently won them the game.
“According to the football association or “FA” diving or “simulation” is against the rules.
“We, fans of Crystal Palace, demand that the FA look into this decision and if found that Christian Benteke did simulate contact he should be banned for a number of games and Liverpool Football Club “LFC” to be fined 6 points at a minimum.
“We understand that the result of the game cannot be changed but the FA need to come down on this sort of behaviour.”
So far Adam Greeves has only got 21 people to sign his petition, but if you want to add your voice, you can do so here.
