Angel di Maria swiftly glosses over Manchester United chapter at PSG unveiling

...and now I'm here

If you’ve got nothing good to say…

Angel Di Maria was officially unveiled to the press as a Paris Saint-German player on Thursday, following his £44m move from Manchester United.

He joined the Ligue 1 side after a disappointing spell at Old Trafford that started promising but steadily fizzled out.

The Argentine couldn’t have spoken more highly of Real Madrid at the unveiling. Di Maria won a Champions League, a La Liga trophy and a whole host of cups at the Bernabeu, a period of his career which he looks back upon with rose-tinted glasses.

“When I was at Real Madrid I won everything there was to win; I even won La Decima, which was a really big thing for them.”

As for the next chapter of his career…

“Then I went to Manchester United…and now I’m here.”

Swiftly moving on, so.
