The Italian's Juventus contract expires in the summer of 2016, but he could move this summer, after confirming he wanted to sample another league before hanging up his boots.
Pirlo, who turns 36 this month, has a cult following for his set-piece ability, casual playing style, glorious hair, rugged beard, and ownership of a vineyard.
Whether Pirlo would be able to have a similar impact in the more fast-paced tempo of the Premier League is up for debate, but we'd certainly love to see him try.
However, the likely scenario is that he joins an MLS side, and Brodge claims he was never on the radar.
