A pre-season friendly is probably the best time for this to happen
Andre Onana didn’t have an ideal Old Trafford debut for Manchester United after he was lobbed from the centre circle.
The Cameroonian keeper was making his first appearance at the Theatre of Dreams since joining the English giants from Inter Milan for £43.8m in July.
United were taking on French side RC Lens in their penultimate pre-season friendly before the start of the Premier League, next weekend.
In the 35th minute, Lens’ Florian Sotoca decided to try his luck from the centre circle after seeing Onana off his line.
And his perfectly weighted effort had the keeper scrambling as it floated over his head and into the back of the net.

Andre Onana replaced David De Gea as new No.1
Andre Onana was signed this summer as replacement for David de Gea who left United after 12 years at the club. United went on to win the game 3-1, with Marcus Rashford, Antony and Casemiro all on the scoresheet.
It could have been more but Mason Mount missed a sitter with the Lens goalkeeper stranded.

Ahead of the game, new striker Rasmus Hojlund was presented to the United fans after his transfer from Atalanta.
The Red Devils get their Premier League campaign underway in just over a week’s time when they take on Wolves at Old Trafford on August 14.
