You just have to look back at Freddy Adu’s emergence to see how football fans in the US get behind their young prodigies.
Matt Miazga’s Chelsea move has drawn waves of national pride, and now attention has turned to an even younger and potentially even more talented player.
17-year-old Christian Pulisic moved from Pennsylvania to join Borussia Dortmund last year, originally joining up with the Germans’ under-19 squad, but he has already made the step up to the first team.
Pulisic replaced Adrian Ramos in the Bundesliga win over Ingolstadt, and fans didn’t overreact at all, not one bit, no siree.
Christian Pulisic is on the field. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. Call your friends, family, call everyone. FS2 NOW!
