Fans reckon they’ve figured out what Granit Xhaka shouted at a furious Arsene Wenger

Aaron Ramsey got a kick out of Xhaka's disregard for his manager

If you give Granit Xhaka a sight at goal, he’s going to shoot.

Regardless of how far out or how long is left in the match, Xhaka is going to swing his left boot at the ball and hope that it nestles in the top corner.

The Arsenal midfielder was eager to add another thunder-strike to his highlight reel on Thursday night as his side closed out a 2-0 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro.

The Gunners earned a much-needed reprieve in their Europa League Round of 16 first leg clash thanks to first half goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal managed to keep the hosts out in the second half and could well have extended the lead that they will take to the Emirates next week.

But as the time ticked away in Milan, manager Arsene Wenger ordered his side to run the clock down and settle for the 2-0 win.

However Xhaka didn’t get the memo and had visions of his name on the scoresheet when he was given the time and space to have a crack at goal in injury time.

His shot came nowhere close to threatening Milan ‘keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Wenger was furious at the Swiss international for gifting the ball immediately back to the opposition.

The Arsenal boss jumped to his feet and admonished Xhaka but the 25-year-old, who is notoriously hot-headed, had no time for his manager’s criticism.

Viewers reckoned they’d read Xhaka’s lips and simply loved how dismissive he was of the under-fire Frenchman, while Aaron Ramsey also treated himself to a chuckle at the exchange.
