Adebayor has been brainwashed by Muslim alfas, claims his brother

The plot thickens

Emmanuel Adebayor’s brother has made an outrageous claim about, well, Adebayor’s outrageous claim.

Recently, Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor revealed that he believed his poor form was a direct result of a curse that was placed on him by his own mother. Today, his elder brother has weighed in his opinion on why he thinks the Togo international came to such a ridiculous conclusion.

Kola Adebayor, who works as a truck driver in Germany, thinks the former African player of the year has been brainwashed into believing that he is under the influence of some sort of maternal curse.

He has been brainwashed by these Muslim alfas – spiritual men – who prophesise when he scores goals and this is why he is not playing well. They have convinced him his sister and mother put juju curses on him.

My mother is very sad. Every day she is crying. I just talked to her on the phone and she was crying again.

Adebayor has had a tough time finding the net for Spurs this season scoring just two goals in 12 matches for the North London side. In a recent interview on Ghana radio station Peace FM, he  denied allegations from his sister Maggie that he’d kicked his mother out of the home he bought for them in Africa.

I never sacked my mum from the house. She decided to leave the house.

How am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not go forward? So I will just be on my side and do my thing.
