AC Milan have inserted some buzz-kill clauses in Mario Balotelli’s new contract

Even people like Mario Balotelli.

But the clever folk at AC Milan think they have a surefire way of keeping the Italian under control this time at the San Siro.

The striker has moved back to Serie A on loan after a woeful 12 months on Merseyside, with Liverpool paying most of his wages just a year after a £16million move  to England.

The full details of the loan move were not revealed but Eurosport are reporting that the Rossoneri have inserted good behaviour clauses into his contract to make sure he keeps on the straight and narrow.

If only his shots at goal did the same.

The reports come from this morning’s Gazetto Dello Sport who claim that the player has been warned off extravagant haircuts, smoking, nightclubs and loud clothing as well as a maintaining a monk-like existence.

According to the paper, the clauses are understood to be based on what service men in the Italian airforce abide by.

His social media posts are also said to be closely monitored while the player is also likely to have to tone down his rather interesting fashion choices
