That’s it, he’s definitely on the way to England so.
Barcelona star Pedro has been continually linked with a move to the Premier League throughout the summer. The La Liga giants have given the midfielder the green light to leave Camp Nou if a club is willing to trigger the £22m buy-out clause in his contract.
Although Chelsea are keen on landing him, the likely destination appears to be Old Trafford, with United reportedly in talks with Barcelona over a deal for the player.
Spanish radio Cadena Ser reported last night that Pedro’s mother let the cat out of the bag that her son will be heading to the Premier League. The station reported that Mama Pedro told the President of Raqui San Isidro (a Canary Island club Pedro is associated with) that he is set to end his tenure with Barcelona and sign for an English club.
Pedro’s mother did not specify the club, but if you are to believe the gossip columns, United are the favourites to land him.
