There was an awful lot of zooming and scanning done when Leicester posted a photograph of the club’s players on the steps of a plane.
The picture, taken to promote a sponsorship renewal, led to Foxes supporters noticing one very notable omission.
After double and triple-checking the image, fans came to the conclusion that there was definitely no sign of Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez, apparently the subject of interest from Arsenal, scooped Leicester’s player of the year award for last season when he played a vital role in their shock Premier League triumph.
And the absence of the Algeria international very nearly gave fans a panic attack on Monday night.
