Is this how supporters have been able to repeatedly foil the security checks at Euro 2016 stadiums?
Everyone has been perplexed at how, despite the more stringent checks, flares have been let off during several games in France.
Fans of Russia, Hungary and, in the most dangerous instance yet, Croatia have been guilty of engaging in the activity which falls under the umbrella of “inappropriate behaviour” according to Uefa’s regulations.

So the fact that it continues to happen is baffling to all, but one supporter has hinted at a very inventive yet dangerous way of getting flares past security.
According to a report in The Mirror, a France fan was arrested after sneaking a flare into a Euro 2016 fanzone last week.
The fan accidentally set the flare alight and injured himself, as well as two others, but the way that he smuggled it in is perhaps the most interesting element of this story.
Apparently, the unnamed 18-year-old managed to slip it past the security checks by hiding the seven-inch long flare up his rectum on his way into the fanzone ahead of France’s 2-0 victory over Albania on Wednesday.
“The supporter managed to burn himself and two other fans,” Nice prosecutor Jean-Michel Pretre said.
At least he got it out of his backside before he lit it because that would have been a proper horror show. Every cloud and all that!
He’s expected to appear before a Nice court on Monday.
