Outcasts unite
You’d probably be hard pressed to find a single Liverpool fan who is sad to see Mario Balotelli finally exit the club this afternoon.
The Italian is gone back to AC Milan on loan just a year after leaving the San Siro to join Liverpool in a £16million pound deal after a disastrous time on Merseyside.
Four goals in almost thirty appearances is not what Brendan Rodgers would have wanted after the sale of Luis Suarez, and by all accounts the former Manchester City man was not always the most popular among his team-mates.
But it seems at least one former colleague is sad to see him depart Anfield.
Jose Enrique, who’s been frozen out of the first-team squad by Brendan Rodgers, posted a sickly sweet message to the striker this afternoon after his return to Italy was confirmed.

“The player he truly is.”
We’re not quite what he means by that but we guess it’s not a man who does rather insane and stupid things in training that allegedly was the final straw for Brendan Rodgers last season.
