What channel is David Haye’s fight on and how can you watch it

Tom Victor

David Haye’s comeback continues on Saturday as he takes on undefeated Swiss fighter Arnold ‘The Cobra’ Gjergjaj.

The ‘Hayemaker’ will look to record another knockout after defeating Mark De Mori in January, and a meeting with Anthony Joshua could be on the cards next year if he keeps winning.

Here’s all you need to know about the bout.

What time is the fight?

The undercard will get underway at approximately 6pm, with Dan Keenan’s welterweight bout against Dwayne Sheldon.

Haye and Gjergjaj are due to enter the ring around 10pm as the ninth fight of the evening.

What TV channel is it on?

As with the De Mori fight, the heavyweight bout will be free to air on Dave.

More than three million people watched the last fight on the freeview channel, significantly more than could have been expected from a PPV screening (by way of contrast, 600,000 paid to view Amir Khan’s defeat to Canelo Alvarez).

What are the odds?

Despite being unbeaten, with 21 knockouts from his 29 career victories, Gjergjaj’s odds are a huge 37/2. Haye is a 1/25 favourite.
