We could very well see Katie Taylor fight on McGregor vs. Mayweather undercard

This would be absolutely brilliant

Roll on 26 August.

We were all a little bit disappointed when we found out that the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather undercard would be consisting of boxing matches and not a hybrid card featuring MMA.

Floyd Mayweather is organising the undercard which is expected to be full of fighters from his own promotion but there is hope that we may see one familiar Irish face.

The Irish Independent is reporting that Katie Taylor may well find herself on the undercard of the super fight.

Taylor

The Bray boxer is fighting in her sixth professional bout on Saturday night as she faces off against Jasmine Clarkson but a certain Floyd Mayweather is expected ringside.

Mayweather could well offer Taylor a spot on his card if he is impressed and it would make perfect sense to attract even more Irish buys to the Pay Per View.

The only snag in the works is that Taylor fights under promoter Eddie Hearn, who also promotes fighters such as Anthony Joshua and Scott Quigg but a place on one of the biggest cards of all time would surely mean a deal could be sorted very easily.
