Great performance from the Bray native.
Katie Taylor has just completed her fourth professional bout and we are glad to say that she remains undefeated.
Taylor was up against Milena Koleva, an opponent who she was supposed to face on the undercard of the David Haye v Tony Bellew fight but the Bulgarian had to pull out through illness.
Well, they finally came together tonight and the Olympic gold medalist put on an excellent display to dispatch her opponent with ease.
Taylor, as has been the case with her previous professional fights, went on the front foot almost immediately in the first round and looked to cut off the ring against her opponent.
She showed incredible hand speed throughout the fight and landed a brilliant left hook on her opponent in the second round.

Taylor threw some ridiculous combinations throughout the fight which her opponent just didn’t have any response to.
As the commentators said during the fight, it is almost impossible to score points against Taylor which is purely down to her sheer work rate and the number of punches she throws.

Taylor put her opponent down in the seventh with a damaging combination and the Bulgarian did well to continue.

In the final round of the eight-round bout, it was pure desperation from Koleva but she couldn’t do anything to deny the inevitable and Taylor saw out the round for her fourth professional victory.
