Somebody tried to spoil Gary “Spike” O’Sullivan’s celebrations tonight.
There were crazy scenes in the 3Arena. Cork middleweight was celebrating his stunning first-round TKO victory over Anthony FitzGerald when he was hit by a projectile thrown by someone ringside. You can see from the clip that the boxer was none the wiser as the flying stool struck him while he was trying to savour his win with the crowd.
It was a pretty low move by the offending party. O’Sullivan proved in his fight, he’s not the kind of guy you want to piss off.
