Watch your back, Wladimir Klitschko because “The Great Wall” is gunning for your belt
The happy little gigantic character is called Taishan Dong and he;s trying to make a name for himself in the heavyweight division. Standing at 7’0″, the Chinese boxer towers over the vast majority of the rest of the division and has looked to be a very dangerous prospect so far.
Dong has two wins from two vicious knockouts since making his boxing debut in July, and the hype train surrounding him has gone into overdrive.
A former kickboxer, “The Great Wall” has been training in the U.S. with the intent of emerging as a contender and a potential threat to Klitschko’s belt. While it’s far too early in his career to say that Dong will live up to the hype, his death from above performances inside the ring make him someone who is worth keeping an eye on.
Check out Dong training for his next bout on February 27th against Roy McCrary in this terrifying promo.
