Tyson Fury just cannot resist the urge when there is a microphone in front of him.
The heavyweight boxing champion had his full press conference swagger on this afternoon at an event to promote his upcoming rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.
However, things got a little bit silly when he was asked his thoughts on Eddie Hearn and his boxer Anthony Joshua.
Fury isn’t happy with recent comments made by Hearn, and used some rather colourful language to describe what he would do to the promoter and his boxer if he met them.
“He’s a nobody him, (Joshua) he’s a Daddy’s boy and a little idiot. He’s had a lot to say but in real life he wouldn’t say that (holding up his index finger) as he’d get slapped up the ear, and he couldn’t do a thing about it, because that’s what real men do to bitches, we slap em.”
Frank Warren quickly intervened, and told a stunned audience of journalists that Fury’s crass remarks were aimed at Hearn and Joshua, and definetly not women.
“That’s not bitches women, don’t nobody try and interpret that in a different way.”
Despite Warren’s plea, the comments are likely to cause Fury some embarrassment, after previous gaffes involving homophobia and sexism.
