Trouble inside and outside the ring
We’re not quite sure how it got to this stage but it seems that with just over a week to go to the massive fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, that there is still no actual contract signed between the men to fight.
That’s right-no actual piece of paper that both men have scribbled their names to which says that they will actually go toe-to-toe in the ring on May 2nd in Las Vegas.
Seemingly the reason that the very important contract hasn’t been signed is due to a dispute on the side of Pacquiao, who is unhappy that Mayweather holds the balance of power in negotiations with venue MGM over music, video content and other aspects of what will happend on the night
Pacquaio representative Bob Arum is understood to be upset at what he was sent in relation to a final draft of the contract, and is refusing to sign:
‘We agreed that we would all be signatories on the final contract and then they sent us a draft of the agreement and it excluded us.’
