Sparring partner reveals how to make Conor McGregor “whimper like a little girl”

You'll have to take his word for it

Fight fans would likely pay just as much to watch the sparring sessions between Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi as they will for the ultimate super-fight on August 26.

But, unfortunately, McGregor is the sole owner of the footage of what went down in the ring when the former WBA welterweight champion agreed to spar ‘The Notorious’ to prepare him for the daunting challenge of Floyd Mayweather.

And McGregor is not going to make that footage public if Malignaggi’s claims about the outcome of the sessions are true.

Malignaggi insists he dealt with McGregor handily in the latest bout of sparring on Tuesday but the Brooklyn boxer left McGregor’s camp that same day after becoming unhappy with how the training was being portrayed on the Irishman’s social media.

A photograph showing Malignaggi on the mat appeared on McGregor’s Twitter feed, suggesting that he’d dropped ‘Magic Man’ but Malignaggi remains adamant that it was no more than a pushdown and a well-timed shot from McGregor’s photographers.

And unhappy with the allegedly deceptive nature of the photograph, Malignaggi walked away from McGregor’s camp and basically hasn’t shut up since.

In the latest series of tweets from Malignaggi, he has claimed that he was able to make McGregor whimper “like a little girl” by hitting him with body shots.
