The fight boxing fans have had to endure an excruciating wait for is finally happening. Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will actually slug it out inside a ring at some stage this year.
The hype surrounding this bout means that it receiving extensive coverage, particularly from media outlets in the US. However, more content means there’s a greater chance that some errors will creep in. Some a lot bigger than others.
The LA Times had a huge blunder in one of their pieces on the fight. Instead of printing a photo of Mayweather, perhaps the most famous person in world boxing right now, they printed one of Pacquiao’s former opponent Timothy Bradley.
