Not quite a million dollar smile

His nickname is Money, so why wouldn’t he put it where his mouth is?

With less than a month to go until Floyd Mayweather Jr puts his unbeaten record on the line against Manny Pacquiao, bizarre stories surrounding the Las Vegas megafight are set to appear with increasing regularity.

TMZ reports that Mayweather is set to wear a custom-made mouthguard that comes complete with fitted $100 bills.

The fighter has his gumshields made to order by a New York dentist named Lee Gause, who, in addition to the hard currency, has also added specks to gold and diamonds to his past Mayweather productions, which can cost up to $25,000 each.

Mayweather told TMZ the extra expense is worth it, saying: ‘My career’s gone on 19 years and I’ve been able to preserve my smile.’
