It took him longer than any of his previous 14 knock-outs, but Anthony Joshua eventually floored Dillian Whyte in the 7th round on Saturday night with a blistering upper-cut.
Joshua’s power was always going to give him an advantage at some stage, despite Whyte soaking up punches as though they were going out of fashion.
There was no coming back from the final upper-cut though – and Paul Malignaggi’s face at ringside said everything about just how much force Joshua packed into the punch.
If even Malignaggi’s shocked, you know it was a pretty special KO.
