Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather is finally over and the better boxer was definitively decided.
After a promising start from Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather perfectly illustrated why 49 elite pugilists couldn’t come close to handing him his first loss as a professional.
Mayweather’s gameplan and gas tank were absolute money as he began teeing off on the weary McGregor as the fight went on. The finish came in round 10 and while McGregor argued that he could have kept fighting, no one can really disagree with that stoppage.
McGregor was stumbling, he wasn’t defending anything that Mayweather was throwing at him and when the referee finally stepped in, he nearly fell through the ropes.

With such a decisive end to the fight, you wouldn’t think many arguments could be sparked over what had transpired inside the ring. However, UFC lightweight Nate Diaz and Showtime broadcaster Brendan Schaub somehow managed to find something about the fight to quibble over backstage.
It seemed that the dispute stemmed from the number of rounds McGregor won in the Money Fight. Diaz seemed to be convinced that McGregor didn’t win any. Schaub disagreed.
“I disagree. He didn’t even try? He didn’t win four rounds? He didn’t win no rounds?”
As Schaub walked away, Diaz flipped him the bird and gave him an obligatory ‘fuck you!’ to which Schaub replied, ‘I’ve got no problem.’
