Mickey Rourke’s latest opponent admits the bout was fixed and he’s still owed money

Not something we didn't already know.

Prepare yourself for a shock! Mickey Rourke’s fight with Elliot Seymour last month was actually fixed.

Now, presuming you’ve not fainted or spilled hot coffee on yourself after that bombshell, you’ll want to know more.

Well Mickey Rourke’s opponent Elliot Seymour has finally come clean about the rigging of his bout with the actor in late November.

Seymour conceded to TMZ Sports that he was “told specifically to go down in the second.”

The boxer, who many reports have claimed to be homeless, claimed that Rourke had no idea about the set-up and that it was the 62-year-old movie star’s team who had organised the fix.

Seymour initially stood firm with the legitimacy of the contest but has changed his tune in recent days, more than likely due to the fact that he is still awaiting money from the promoter.

Two weeks ago, the 29-year-old claimed he was owed $5,000 for the bout but maintained that he was truly finished by Rourke, who has never lost in his nine professional fights.

We don’t know what to believe. Actually, having seen the finish to the fight again, we know exactly what to believe.
