Boxer Michaela Walsh has advanced to the final of the European Games after a 3-2 split decision win over Daria Abramova on Friday afternoon.
The win guarantees Walsh at least a silver medal with the Belfast woman now set to fight Bulgaria’s Stanimira Petrova in the featherweight final after disposing of reigning world champion Ornella Wahner in the quarter-final.
