Manny Pacquiao has more friends than you… probably.
This Saturday night fight fans will finally get to witness the one they’ve been waiting to see for years.
Two of the greatest pugilists of all time, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will slug it out in a welterweight unification bout. The event promises to be the biggest, most lucrative boxing card in history.
A portion of the profit will come from the live gate and, unsurprisingly, tickets are at a premium for this one. Even Manny’s promoter, Bob Arum, has had to spend $10K for his ringside seat.
Pacquiao himself might have overdone it when purchasing tickets for his entourage. It is being estimated that the Pac-Man splashed somewhere between $3m and $4m for a block of seats for 900 members of his entourage. No, you don’t need to get your eyes checked. You read that correctly. Pacquiao’s entourage comprises of 900 people.
Saturday can’t come soon enough.
