Pacquiao’s gym, the Wildcard Boxing Club, is reportedly surrounded by seven armed guards ahead of the superfight on May 2.

Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, explained that the armed security patrolling the premises are employed to ensure that what’s happening during the boxer’s training camp remains behind closed doors. He added that the firearms the guards are carrying is to make sure that “people respect them.”
