We have something special on our hands.
Not that we need reminding, Taylor is our sole gold medal winner at the Olympics since the turn of the millennium.
She’s the pride of the nation and since turning professional she has been nothing short of impressive.
Last night marked Taylor’s sixth win since leaving her amateur status and a world title shot is very quickly looming.

Eddie Hearn has been licking his lips since signing Taylor to his promotion, she is a star and there is no other way to put it but us here in Ireland aren’t the only ones to realise that.
Michael Buffer has been ring announcer for his fair share of fights, working at the job since the early 1980’s and has seen it all.
He gets to announce all the big fights including any broadcast on HBO and will, no doubt, be front and centre when Conor McGregor fights Floyd Mayweather.
Well, Buffer gave a glowing endorsement of the Bray fighter before her stateside debut.
I remember it well as I can proudly say I introduced her that night☘️💥A great moment for me as she's truly special! #LetsGetReadyToRumble 👊

And he wasn’t the only boxing legend to take notice either.

Say what you want about Katie Taylor's opponent. It's hard to match against a girl who is in a league of her own.
