Katie Taylor is off and running but she knows she has a ways to go.
The Bray boxer got her professional boxing career off to a superb start with a third round win over Karina Kopinska in London, last night.
The Pole had no answer to Taylor’s power and precision and the referee did her a favour by calling a halt early doors. It was a comprehensive performance by Taylor and won acclaim back home, and across the globe.
The likes of Conor McGregor, Tony Bellew and AP McCoy were few of thousands to tweet their congratulations to Taylor and rave about her win.

Taylor was up at the crack of it this morning and her first tweet sums up her insatiable appetite for success and a drive that few can match.
She is already on the charge.
