We have a fight on our hands

No hiccups. Game on.

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather both hit the scales tonight, and it all went smoothly, with the pair coming in under the welterweight limit of 147lbs.

The pair were absolutely ripped as they hit the scales, and look in cracking shape for tomorrow night’s showdown.

In what has been one of the most eagerly anticipated fights of all time, 16,000 wedged in to see the pair go through their formalities, and boxing journalist Eric Raskin’s tweet really did sum it all up.

Up first was Pacquiao, who hit the scales two pounds under, coming in at 145lbs.

Before Floyd came on-stage, weighing in at 146 pounds.

The pair both guzzled down water as soon as they left the scales, with the HBO commentators predicting the Mayweather could put on as much as 8 more pounds before the pair step into the ring tomorrow night.

The final piece of action was the stare-down, with the fighters keeping a respectable distance from each other, and little Manny even cracked a smile.

Not long to go now.
