What Conor McGregor actually said to Floyd Mayweather during their intense staredown

When Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather stepped away from their mics in Los Angeles, the verbal battle began.

It was the first time Conor McGregor got a chance to try to engage in a face-to-face back-and-forth with Floyd Mayweather and the audience wasn’t able to hear a word of it.

All we could see from the live-broadcast was a lot of gum-flapping and grimaced faces as the two prizefighters clearly talked shit about one another.

McGregor explained after the fact that it was “just trash-talking that fighters say to one another,” but thanks to Dana White’s wonderful vlog, we were able to actually hear some of it.

Day two of the UFC president’s vlog for the Mayweather-McGregor world tour dropped on Wednesday and towards the tail end of the video we got a closer view of the trash talk battle. There was a lot of repetition from Mayweather.

Mayweather: “Easy work. Easy work. Easy work. Easy work.”

McGregor: “Four rounds and you’re unconscious.”

Mayweather: “You ain’t making it out of the first round. Keep talking.”

After a relatively slow start, McGregor finally got going with his acerbic tongue. ‘Money’s supposed ‘pillow hands’ were the main focus of his verbal assault.

McGregor: “Yeah, yeah. You ain’t knocked anybody out in about 30 years. Little fists. Little fists. Little fists. Them hands sore, are they? Do they hurt more in the cold? Do them hands hurt more in the cold? You should get them massaged down. You should get them little paws massaged down.”

“I’m a fucking animal. If this was a real fight you’re dead already. If this was a real fight you’re dead in twenty seconds. Twenty seconds and I smash you within an inch of your life.”

Mayweather: “Just show up! Just show up! Just show up! Just show up! Just show up! Just show up!”

McGregor: “I’m here sir. (singing) I’m right here! You ain’t going to do nothing.”

Check out an edited version of the exchange in the video embedded below. The face off kicks off from around the 7:50 mark.
