A belt is a belt is a belt

This crowd knows how to properly market a fight.

Last month the World Boxing Council announced that they would produce a special belt for the winner of the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao superfight in May. Now, more details have been revealed over the mystery belt.

The WBC unveiled two different designs for the strap and are asking fans to decide which one should be given to the winner of the bout.

Don’t worry, we found it difficult to tell the difference between the pair as well. However, the boxing promotion claims on their official website that they are indeed two distinct belts.

Option one…for who’s won….is a belt made from onyx. While option two, if slightly more conventional is exquisite. The famous green and gold belt will be encrusted with emeralds. The fans are being entrusted with the task of choice. Then a belt befitting green envy, will be created by the finest craftsmen for the most brilliant ring exponent, to proudly hold aloft for all the World to see.
