Eddie Hearn’s shorts pulled down by his own fighter in Boston

"Billion dollar debag"

Fight week can be a stressful time for boxers.

Most fighters undergo a weight-cut, there is the nagging concern that all it takes is one shot from an opponent in the ring to change a fighter’s life and there are the nerves that accompany fighting in front of thousands.

Very few fighters would describe fight week as “fun” but if you’re Tommy Coyle, you make your own fun to keep your mind off the upcoming bout.

Coyle is set to make his American debut in the wee hours of Sunday morning against Ryan Kielczewski and he was in fine form in the days leading up to the fight on the undercard of Demetrius Andrade vs. Walter Kautondokwa in Boston.

Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn has learned this week that he has to keep his wits about him around Coyle as he found himself on the receiving end of a “Billion Dollar Debag” at the hands of the Hull lightweight.

Hearn was just on his way back from the gym and will be regretting going commando as he made his way to his room because Coyle took full advantage.

Of course, Hearn saw the funny side of the prank and engaged with some banter with Coyle on Twitter ahead of the opening bell.
