VIDEO: Deontay Wilder doesn’t seem too scared by Tyson Fury

God-fearing

Tyson Fury may have to face Wladimir Klitschko again, but that doesn’t mean the Ukrainian is the only one gunning for him.

American boxer Deontay Wilder, the reigning WBC heavyweight champion, has been marked out as a potential opponent for the Brit if he can get past Klitschko once more.

And from the sounds of it, the 30-year-old would be more than happy to enter the ring for a unification bout if he makes a successful title defence in January.

“Deontay Wilder’s not afraid of no man. The only man I fear is God,” Wilder told FightHype.

“I like to have a challenge so I’m willing to go anywhere in the world to fight,” he added, saying he was keen to “make history”.

“I feel like this is my calling. This is what I’m meant to do. Any man stepping in that ring, they’re going to go. I don’t care who it is.”

Wilder has won all 35 of his career fights to date, including a victory over Audley Harrison in 2013, and has also been mentioned as a potential opponent for Londoner Anthony Joshua.
