So, last night caused a bit of confusion.
For all the McGregor fans out there the whole press conference had a very different feel to it than what they are usually used to.
In the UFC, fighters are kept on apart with Dana White in between in fear that they’ll beat the living bejaysus out of each other and usually they take questions from the press.

That didn’t happen though, the two men went face to face (twice), stood up at a podium and had free reign to say whatever they wanted.
Not as entertaining as you’d imagine but there were some great quotes in there.
The format clearly favoured Mayweather with McGregor evidently unprepared and not fully aware of what was expected of him.
The common consensus is that Mayweather came out as the victor in the verbal spar.
In the build-up to the fight, it is no surprise that professional boxers have backed Mayweather for the sake of their sport and a lot of UFC fighters are backing McGregor, a win for the Dubliner would be massive for mixed martial arts.
UFC Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier called it how it is though suggesting that Mayweather came out on top but solely because McGregor wasn’t adequately prepared.
Conor has to be able to reply to floyd. They can't cut his mic. And now that he knows, he will be better prepared. LA to Floyd tho!

I'm not talking fans. I hear fans were 95 percent Conor. I'm talking material and presence. We love Conor but he wasn't prepared https://t.co/ivEWBtksRl
