Anthony Joshua is looking in incredibly relaxed form ahead of his heavyweight title defence next weekend.
Joshua will take on Carlos Takam at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium after his original opponent, Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev, withdrew at late notice due to an injury.
The world champion has already endeared himself to the people of Wexford by inviting local hero, and heavyweight, Niall Kennedy into his training camp for sparring sessions.

Well, Joshua must be nigh on freedom of the county after inviting along Wexford hurling’s golden boy to help him prepare for the big fight.
McDonald paid a visit to Joshua’s camp and got a fascinating look behind the scenes.
Kennedy and McDonald were on hand to get the Londoner prepped for his title defence. The hurling star even got to try on the champ’s gloves for size and hit some pads.
Once work was done, Joshua was only too happy to pose for some snaps with the Yellowbellies.

‘What a man,’ McDonald wrote:

Davy Fitzgerald may be ringing the county board yet and enquiring if Joshua needs transfer papers to join the Wexford cause in 2018.
McDonald, Joshua and Lee Chin would keep many a defence honest…
