Anthony Joshua looks absolutely shredded in final training session before world title fight

Best shape of his life...

Ben Kenyon

We didn’t think it was possible for Anthony Joshua to get any more ripped.

But the British and Commonwealth champion is looking in terrifying shape just days away from his shot at the IBF world heavyweight title.

The Olympic gold medallist looked in peak condition after his final training session before he faces world champion Charles Martin.

Even though the 26-year-old stays in year-round shape, his training for this career-defining fight began in earnest way back in January.

But now we’re about to see the results of his blood, sweat and tears unleashed on the American on Saturday night at London’s O2 Arena.

We were given a glimpse of just how badly Joshua wants that heavyweight belt with behind-the-scenes footage of his training camp for the fight.

The Watford fighter, who has won every one of his 15 pro fights by knock out, has been killing himself in the gym to improve his speed, fitness and punching power for the fight of his life.

It clearly shows in his physical condition. But while Tyson Fury is proof physiques don’t win fights, Joshua will feel he surely has the edge in fitness and power against the unbeaten American southpaw.

As for Martin, he may not be as sculpted but he’ll look good enough if this belt stays strapped around his waist.
